​​Erika Potter was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Although she discovered her love for teaching others at a young age, she got her first teaching experience as a Sunday School teacher at a church in Chandler, Arizona.  In addition to teaching children, Erika has a passion for poetry. She wrote her first published piece at ten years old. Erika has a Bachelor's Degree in Business and a Masters degree in Early Childhood Education, and has decades of experience working with children ages new born through 13. She often consults with various childcare facilities and teachers to aid in curriculum development.  Now a wife and mother, Erika enjoys writing children’s books, consulting, singing and spending time with her family.
